I liked all the points you addressed in the blog post! Without reading and prior knowledge I would have never known some of the real struggles people faced to live from day to day during the great depression. Do you think those people who took their lives, because of the poverty they lived in, could have found another way to provide for themselves or their families? If push came to shove how would you earn money or a living in this day and age? Do you think you would be able to support yourself or a family in a scenario like this? In your opinion do you think the baby boom had a negative impact in some way? In the 50’s you can see how suburbs and neighborhoods began to develop. Many jobs began to develop because of the growth of families. For soldiers the G.I. bill was convenient for low mortgage rates. Were all people who chose not to participate in politics considered hippies?
