Clutter-busting strategy #2: Start small

Do a tiny spot each day. Set a timer for 15 minutes and focus on one small area. It could be a drawer rather than a whole room. Empty the stuff out and sort it; throw out those pens that no longer write, separate out the paper clips, change, and old keys that don’t go to anything you own any longer. Don’t just dump the contents into a box and then hide it under a bed. That’s not decluttering, that’s just moving it around. And that’s no system.
