Well, I hope you have made it this far in our blog series (and if you just skipped here, go back and check out the others!). In this edition of our astrological series, we want to close out the series with a very interesting topic, by taking a look at the interesting correlation between zodiac signs and crime. There has been a large interest in zodiac signs and how they can suggest traits about criminals. Is this a valid observation or just a huge coincidence?

If you take a look at some of the most well-known criminals, mostly serial killers, that we’ve ever known, you will see a unique pattern. A lot of these people carry the same few zodiac signs: Geminis, Virgos, Sagittarians, Pisces. Cosmopolitan broke down the unique characteristics of all of these signs. These four signs are all mutable, meaning that they occur at the end of the four seasons. Could this suggest something about people born during this time?

Serial Killers and their zodiac sign.

To touch on some of the characteristics of these signs that could potentially lead them to be criminals as suggested by this article, it has quite interesting takes. Pisces, for example, are said to be sensitive. When we think about this, it could become a negative flaw if it leads someone to want to react to a sensitive moment they’ve experienced. Gemini being the sign of “twins” could suggest that these criminals are operating within a double life situation, which could lead them to commit the crimes. The adventurous and exciting nature of Sagittarians could possibly lead them to act on their curiosity, even if it means breaking the law. Lastly, Virgos being identified as detail-oriented and organized, could set them up to be very “organized” criminals. Now, this isn’t factually proven, however when we consider the traits associated with these signs, it is worth taking an interesting look at.

In more recent news, it has been reported that the Zodiac Killer has been identified. He was infamously known for the killings of multiple people in Northern California. Though it is still not understood why he referred to himself as “Zodiac,” it makes you wonder if he was driven by any astrological force or interest. In letters that he sent to law enforcement, he often used astrological symbols and references that had to be deciphered, most commonly the Zodiac sign of a crossed circle. There is still questioning around the Zodiac Killer’s astrological connection, but it is worth noting the unusual reference.

Now, it is also important to remember that there is a lot more to it than zodiac signs that drive people to commit such terrible crimes. And, of course, it should go without saying that someone’s sign does not mean that they are capable of committing such crimes. However, it is just a fascinating (and scary) pattern that has been noticed over the years.

I hope that you have enjoyed reading this astrology series over the past few weeks! I hope that you have learned something new, and possibly sparked an interest in astrology for you. I hope to hear your thoughts on the influence of astrology and zodiac signs in your life!
