Let’s Talk About Weightloss, Health and Fitness

Most everyone I encounter think in order to lose weight, you must consume nothing but good, healthy foods, and perform cardio exercises for tow or more hours a day. They feel there are so many different types of exercises that you can do, they end up not doing any due to the information overload after reading so many contradicting opinions. This makes it difficult to know what type of routine you should do to get the best out of your work out. Here are a few ideas to help you choose what suits you the best. Aside of any medical condition- there truly is not a wrong exercise to do. I recommend practicing a couple different ones that seem to peak your interest and then stick with whatever is most enjoyable. I said most enjoyable, or maybe less painful for those of you a bit less optimistic.

But Why Do I Need Fat, Doesn’t Fat Make You Fat?

Everyone needs to consume at least a small amount of healthy, unsaturated fats. Healthy, unsaturated fat is essential component in the make up of cell membranes. Fat also acts as a shock absorber for both bones and organs as well as insulates them. Consuming unsaturated fats has proven to decrease the risk of heart disease. You can find this healthy fat in olive oils, canola oil, avocados, nuts, and fatty fish to name a few.
