You'll see why i'm a dreamer with my head in the sky through my writing. I started off my writing journey by writing original stories to afternoon cartoons.
I did the illustrations and the self-publishing of my own pocket comics using clear tape, markers, and a stapler. Soon after, I was intrigued by Hip Hop, so I wrote raps.
After that, I wrote songs with the guitar, and from that, a poet was born. I named myself Poet of Pain (P.o.p.) because when I felt an emotion I poured every ounce of my being into those words. My chronicles of love and heartbreak moved readers in ways they could'nt even comprehend.
I didn't realize creating those little books would turn into writing my first book of poetry called The Blood of My Pen.
I couldn't show how I felt physically, but poetry became my written tears. Soon after, I transferred that creative energy into producing music for spoken word albums.
I created harmony by seamlessly blending my music with the poet's words. That experience became my brand Music meets poetry. After producing 20 full albums for poets, I returned to a childhood passion, and that's movie soundtracks.
Before I adopted the smooth and soulful sounds for poets, I enjoyed an experimental futuristic style that didn't fit with popular music, so I put it on the backburner.
When the time was right, I had a library of sounds to use for my own film and animated shorts. That part of me became a brand that I call Cue thev score. I made music for about 13 years, and the writing became more scarce within that time frame.
When I went through some difficult times taking photos of nature became my form of storytelling. It was able to heal and inspire me and others.
What brought me back to writing is the life force of this craft. I personally had been listening to audiobooks, but it put me in the headspace of consuming self-help and uplifting content.
There was a time that Facebook was more generous with Medium articles in the feed. Reading an article about self-improvement and motivation changed my life.
That led me here and sparked the wildfire within to write again. At this moment, I've come full circle. I'm here, and that's my story.
