WORKED UP TO LUNACY

Self accomplishment is knowing who you really are and working hard to be that person irregardless of the noise around you. That is success.Everyday we wake up and ideas flood our thoughts of what we should be,how our lives should turn out and what we should do to make it work. But sometimes it ends up going down hill irregardless of the numerous effort to change the circumstances.

So what should you do?

NOTHING.

And this is the hardest part for me to do.I am a human machine created to operate on active mode. When one operation does not produce results in the minimal time I have set, damn it! My narcissist ego goes on”ABORT MISSION!”…and bye bye Felicia.(now that I think about it) I want to send a BIG shout out to my Anna,I know this Else has worked you up to exhaustion,to my Kristoff, for braving the snow and defrosting my heart and the numerous people around me who for some reason call me a friend.

Doing nothing is HARD. The narcissist ego wants validation,it wants to let everyone acknowledge its existence. The ego is nothing more than an idea that each of us has about ourselves. The ego is only an illusion, but a very influential one. Letting the ego-illusion become your identity can prevent you from knowing your true self. Ego, the false idea of believing that you are what you have or what you do, is a backwards way of assessing and living life.

The ego-idea of yourself is very much like the evil queen’s,”mirror mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?”. Your ego wants you to look for the inside on the outside. The outer illusion is the major preoccupation of the ego.The ego-idea has been with us ever since we began to think. It sends us false messages about our true nature. It leads us to make assumptions about what will make us happy and we end up frustrated. It pushes us to promote our self-importance while we yearn for a deeper and richer life experience. It causes us to fall into the void of self-absorption, again and again, not knowing that we need only shed the false idea of who we are.

So I choose to do nothing and listen to the still voice of wisdom only rarely heard or attended to.What have I got to lose?

“They who can give up essential liberty,to obtain temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety” Benjamin Franklin
