anthropogenic tendencies

A new song, maybe some work on it here and there, but it pretty much encapsulates my thoughts on climate change.

And yes, unfortunately it’s pitch black* at the moment :/ But it is what I think really.

lyrics:

on and on we go
towards anthropogenic tendencies
human kind shown dependencies
towards what they destroy

like a virus
they show the same tendencies
to conquer ,
and destroy,
to the bone

ooh boy

who needs an “automaton”,
while we are sawing off the bench we’re on,

ourselves.

it’s the competition
division…
towards possible extinction

it’s the system,
the very culture
we protect

causing the infliction.

it’s no longer about humanity,
it’s about dollar and dime
insanity

incomplete
human
mechanized visions,
material traditions,
addictions,

till everything is commoditized,

till nothing is left but
bad conditions (bank efficience)

submissions
to hierarchical structures, fragmentized compositions

away from the human condition

away, from being responsible, feeling like a little electron

polluting the very ground you walk upon,

you eat from,

you breath in, and out, love in

you die in.

while I die , within

realizing the mess, we’re in.

but ooh well the show must go on right?
to the others, say each other a good night

it’s time to sleep again, so it’s all right

nothing’s the matter as long as you work and consume, right?

last one please turn off the light.

last one please turn off the light.

last one please turn off the light.

*I keep hoping it’s just a personal state of mind
