It always been a struggle for me to find a beautiful and creative wall to take pictures. Everyone wants interesting pictures to showcase their daily life.

When people ask me to take pictures for them, I tried really hard to come up with a creative way. Before the start of my 5 in 5, my friend happened to ask me to take some aesthetic pictures. So I decided to make this as my first project and make it fun.

I was inspired by the pop art and murals where we always want to take pictures there and started to wondering: can I create a digital wall like that? Fortunately, I got a projector at home which never be used before. This probably is the time it can play an important role.

I coded a pop art effect using Processing, and found a box with a beautiful pattern and via camera, I can use that pattern. The setup is shown below:

After projecting it on the closet of my bedroom, I got this kind of effect:

The tint is randomly generated and I asked my friend to wear white top so the pattern projected on her body will look good too.

I really love the final results and found it a fun way to take pictures. The background can change depends on what pattern you give to the computer camera.
