This past week, we talked about the initializer list on Monday, had test 1b on Wednesday, and talked about the Darwin project on Friday. Beyond that, I worked from home for my part-time intern where we started an exciting new project. Yes, my family is safe. I’m living at my friend’s house for the rest of the semester in Austin since my roommate already move out of the apartment after school shut down, and I don’t want to live alone at this uncertain period.

In OOP we talked about allocator project on Monday. Finish test 1a on Wednesday, and test 1b got canceled today. In this class, we went over some C++ data structures and iterators. I had a midterm on Tuesday for CS 378, and it went pretty well. I wrapped up my data mining assignment on Monday. I felt good about it since it was a pair assignment but I completed alone. I also went to my first tennis class on Monday. In OOP, we talked about array and voting project this week. The voting system we have to implement on project overlaps with the content of another class I took at UT. It was ECO330T, where we went over the pros and cons of majority types of voting systems in the world and how they are specifically implemented. It was wonderful to see how two different fields(economies and computer science) got overlap sometimes.
