MRT project ground breaking start c.a 2014 under Governor “Jokowi” and continued by “Ahok” who was taking over as Jokowi become President in last October. It built underground.
The plan is to switch motor car drivers into mass rapid transportation system, by applying costly ERP for private vehicles at MRT route. MRT will be connected with CLJ (Commuter Line Jakarta) train system connecting with sub urban cities (Bekasi, Bogor, Tangerang)
