Islamabad is the capital of Pakistan (Islamic Republic of Pakistan). Islamabad was declared as the capital city of Pakistan in 14th August, 1967 after Karachi.

Islamabad is the 9th largest city of Pakistan. Its altitude is 540 meters (1,770 ft) .
According to 2017 census, its population is 1,014,825, It is average rainfall is 1143 millimeters and humidity is about: 55% , it is divided in to three parts.

Islamabad follows the name of religion of Islam as Islamabad, well based on Islamic architecture too, The Shah Faisal Mosque is a fusion of contemporary architecture with a more traditional large triangular prayer hall and four minarets, designed by Vedat Dalokay, a Turkish architect and built with the help of funding provided by King Faisal of Saudi Arabia. It is surrounded by many different cities and countrysides and different cities of Pakistan, specially Murree, Abbottabad, Hazara, Wah cantt, Taxila, Fateh Jang, Kahuta, Bhurban etc.
The most important thing is, it is located near to the well-known city name Rawalpindi. Folks sometimes label it as the twin cities. Faizabad bridge connects the twin cities. Additionally, it is situated at the border Punjab province which is also near to another Khyber Pakhtoon Khuwah and Pakistani Kashmir.
Since the splition of the Sub continent till 1967, Karachi was the capital city of Pakistan. In 1958, planning was started to move the capital from Karachi. Islamabad is the self-made city. It has no well-known history. So there was no native of Islamabad.
Everything was planned and I personally believe it is one of the cities of Pakistan where every basic standardized necessity of daily life is being provided. Its streets become desolated when any events being occurred especially religious events. You can easily see the whole city from many different areas of Islamabad.
