In the era of technology and digital awareness, for the first time in the history of Pakistan, the government is taking interest in quality and revolutionizing tech education and cutting edge technologies. At this time, to be able to full participate in the fourth industrial revolution 4IR of the world, the government is trying to develop quality human resources who can actively participated in the 4IR and boost development of Pakistan.
There was a launching ceremony of PIAIC at Global Marquees banquet in Karachi on 9th Dec, 2018. Under the supervision of the President of Islamic Republic of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi, President of Pakistan.

- Yousuf Lakhani: President of Saylani Welfare Trust.
- Suleman Mehdi: Chairman of the Board of Pakistan Stock Exchange.
Massive candidates applied in Karachi, approximately 32000 and now Quarter 2 is underway successfully. Some students who lived in Hyderabad who were taking classes in Karachi in Quarter 1 are now taking classes in Hyderabad since Quarter 2. Now, Islamabad is being followed with the Quarter 1, next city would be the Faisalabad. Lahore, Peshawar and Quetta are in the pipeline.
PIAIC provides some mediums to learn aside from onsite/online. They have slack group. Live session on Facebook on weekends which is opened for unregistered learners too where students ask their queries related to the technologies and the mentors of PIAIC answers on the spot.
About Courses:
Courses are AI- Artificial Intelligence, Block Chain, Cloud Computing and Internet of Things.
- Artificial Intelligence: (AI) is the intelligence of a computer program or a machine to think, learn and give result. It is field of study which tries to make computers smart. It has further divided in to Machine Learning, Data Science, Neural Network, Deep learning, Robotic, Image processing etc.
- Cloud Computing: Cloud Computing is the study of how storing and accessing data and programs over the Internet rather than your personal hard disk/memory card/USB etc . In which they study Kubernetes, Containers, Dockers, AWS deployment, Linux, programming on clouds etc.
- Block Chain: Blockchain is a technology which allows folks, organizations and companies to make instantaneous transactions on a network without any medium (like banks, corporate). Any type of transactions or information made on blockchain are completely secure. Crypto currency is the strong example of block chain.
- Internet of Things : In simple words, IoT refers to any physical devices around the world that are now connected to the internet, collecting and sharing data.
- Quantum Computing : It would be the spur in tech science. From this the world will get the advantage of technologies more faster.
- 5G and Software Defined Networking (SDN/NFV/ Orchestration): It will include the core network dependency like fundamentals of networking, LANs, WANs, VLANs, IP4, IP6, OSPF, Wireless LANs.
PIAIC is about to include Augmented Reality, UI/UX designer, Mobile development, Design Thinking and Entrepreneurship and many more in pipeline. PIAIC is about to announce the course Quantum Computing.
These courses will be taught onsite and online for the students who reside in remote and countrysides of Pakistan.
The fee structure for onsite students is PKR 1,000 per month for 12 months, payable in 4 installments of PKR 3,000, before the start of each quarter. The fee structure for distance learning students is PKR 500 per month for 12 months, payable in 4 installments of PKR 1,500, before the start of each quarter. The entire fee will be given to Saylani Welfare Trust.
Those students who are about to enroll in the program online can check the distance learning(who resides far from the centers) option available in the application form. Please note that distance learning students must have attempted exams too on site just like the onsite students.
Advice to the students that there is no edit option in the form followed by the success of initial MCQs based test, so be attentive while enrolling as the onsite/online student and specially on the selection of courses with the blue background color picture.
