Halloween of Life

It’s time for the costumes and the masks,

Of witches, goblins, fairies and ghouls,

Of haunted mansions and skulls,

Of ghouls and empty tombs.

Watch the grave, the tide and the machine,

It’s time for a scary, fruity and fun Halloween.

Fireworks and many a scary story,

Snacks of chocolates and stories so gory.

Children trudge from door to door on the street,

Screaming with glee, “Trick O’ Treat”.
