Duolingo English Test Practice — Top Places to get DET practice material
As the Duolingo English Test is becoming more popular by the day, and more universities are adopting this test as an English proficiency test, it’s slowly taking the market share of TOEFL and IELTS. However, somehow with all of this popularity, you still cannot find practice materials that are good enough to challenge yourself before taking this test.
So, in this post, I would like to address this issue that you are facing and direct you to good places and apps where you can practice the Duolingo English Test and where free materials are available easily.
DET Success: For English Test App
This app is an absolute gem when it comes to the Duolingo English Test practice material; it offers hundreds of questions that you can practice in a somewhat real practice environment. I really appreciate the developer's job in making this app.
I have tried the app for some time, and it’s easy to use, and most question types are included. Even Interactive Reading is available for practice.
The app has a subscription model, which will open up more questions for you to practice, and it’s very cheap for something like 3 bucks a month. When I practiced for the test, I bought a 3-month subscription, which was for like 6$, and it was enough to practice for the Duolingo English Test.
The downside is that the app is available for Android and IOS, and you can download it here for Android, and here for IOS.
Teacher Luke — DET
Teach Luke is one of the most famous-if not the only- Youtubers who talks about the Duolingo English Test. His channel is filled with videos teaching you how to answer each question type of Duolingo English Test questions.
He also offers courses on Udemy, which give more details about answering some of the tough question types in the Duolingo English Test, particularly the “Write About a Photo” and “Read then Write” questions.
Teacher Luke can be your one-stop shop for everything about the DET test because he also offers a practice platform filled with questions, but I didn’t use it because it’s only available on a computer, and I felt more comfortable with DET Success on my mobile phone.

Read and Select Questions Practice — Duolingo English Test
