You will not be successful if you do these 50 things. The author is not successful because he did these 50 things. He’s successful because he’s the kind of person that can examine his life, chose 50 life-changing improvements to his life, and make himself execute on those 50 changes every day, for the rest of his life. If you have that kind of willpower, then any 50 things you choose to do will be sufficient for you to succeed. If you don’t have that kind of willpower, then you can’t make 50 life-changing improvements (not matter who picks them). The author misses the point — he doesn’t understand the source of his success.
It’s like the fashion model advertising beauty products — as though they’re beautiful because they use those products. They were beautiful before they used those products and will continue to be beautiful whether they use those (or any) products. If you’re beautiful, you’re beautiful.
