10 Things About N.E.
Replying to a Medium Challenge
A bit ago Brandon Ellrich tagged me for the Ten Things about Me Medium Challenge. Not too much of a challenge, really. Just answer ten predetermined questions. (Make sure you check his out as well! )
Let’s dive right in, shall we?
What is your favorite drink?
Hot cocoa, natch. When out and about, I do enjoy a Bai water or two. Especially their coconut flavors.
I vowed at a young age to never allow alcohol to pass my lips, due to my upbringing. I don’t mind at all if others around me enjoy, though. It’s just a personal decision.
What is your favorite color?
Is sunlight a color? I only half joke. I love all colors, really. My world is just an interesting blur of color without my contacts or glasses. I have been thus so from a young age, but no one noticed until age 10 or so. The world beyond the 18 inches (46 cm) in front of me was just a lovely Monet, a cornucopia of color splashed to life by light before my first pair of glasses.
If you were to win the lottery, what are the top three things that you would do first?
Have three cups of cocoa.
What is your favorite cuisine?
Due to digestive issues, my diet is mostly limited to veggies and fruits.
I do love cooking and baking for others, though. I enjoy seeing and trying dishes from other lands and cultures.
Would you give up your phone or social media forever?
Yes to both! Kiddos finally forced a phone upon me when I took a tumble wandering the wilderness one too many times.
I’m a Twit-Tok-Face virgin and have no desire to ever join or consume such “entertainment.”
Now, if you ask me if I could give up my camera…
What is one thing that you are really good at?
Pondering. Especially at 3AM.
Do you love dogs or cats more?
Both are made up of the same elements, including Molybdenum, and as such are life enriching and full of meaning. So we are sort of splitting hairs here, no?
Are you a coffee drinker?
No. Had a cup once, shared with a lover on a plane ride to DC. Wasn’t impressed. Now, I’ve been told airline coffee isn’t exactly quality stuff, but when one is madly in love, all things usually taste divine, no?
Stuff smells amazing, though.
What languages can you speak?
I am a fluent reader of nonverbal communication, English, and some Spanish.
Have yet to really learn to speak any proficiently, though.
My high school Spanish teacher said I was fluent in Shannonese, so there’s that.
Can you use chopsticks?
Ha! I can hardly use my fingers, much less any sort of skinny tableware. At least not for their intended uses. I do have a couple chopsticks currently assisting in propping up a top-heavy plant. Does that count?
I enjoyed this short and sweet photo-filled Q&A. Feel free to answer the above 10 questions, and tag me so I can read your answers!
May you have smooth sailing through 2023. Cheers!
