Relevant background qualifications
We are highly experienced and have deep knowledge in setting up and running reliable bare metal EOSIO producer-, peering- and API nodes as needed for different chains.
Sw/eden launched the first community testnet of EOS and we played an active role in the launch of the EOS mainnet. Since then we have participated in the launch of BOS, Worbli and Meetone. We are currently registered block producers on EOS, BOS, Meetone and Worbli and are also active in multiple public and private testnets.
We strongly believe in the power of community and the importance of reliable testnets. This enables developers and community members an environment to test dAPPs and functions as well as play with nodeos and APIs without putting their funds at risk.
Since the launch of EOS mainnet we have been running multiple full-history API nodes that currently store more than 7.5 TB of indexed data each. Since there are only two producers running v1 full history API:s publicly available for the community we have been given a great opportunity to practise both operating and scaling this under quite heavy load.
We are involved in the blockchain space with a goal of leaving a positive impact in the world. This is our strongest motivator and where we find our drive to engage and participate in projects which we believe have the potential to change our society, for the better. Both big and small.
Tech specs and scalability plan for sw/eden
One of the benefits with running bare metal servers is that it allows us full control to provide both needed hardware and network specifications, and we can easily scale up and down to meet and surpass the requirements of the WAX network.
WAX Guilds technical requirements include that you should have a server that has at a minimum 128G RAM, at least 2 CPU cores, having at least 200G of disk space, and provisioning a RAID 10 SSD array on bare metal for swap.
We will start with the following machines:
Producer — Intel Xeon-W 2125, 128GB ram, 1.6TB NVMe (Samsung PM1725b HHHL, 3 DWPD)
Backup producer — Intel Xeon-W 2125, 128GB ram, 2TB NVMe (Intel DC P4610, 3 DWPD)
API v1 — Intel Scalable Gold 6128, 768GB ram, 12TB NVMe (Intel DC P4610, 3 DWPD), 2x 750GB NVMe with Intel Memory Drive Technology SW (Intel Optane DC P4800x NVMe HHHL, 30 DWPD)
Peering — We run peering nodes on a variety of hardware ranging from Intel Scalable Gold 6128, Intel Xeon E5–2690, Intel Xeon E5–2660, Intel Xeon X5670.
API v2 Hyperion — 2x AMD EPYC 7371, 128GB ram, 6.4TB NVMe (Samsung PM1725b HHHL, 3 DWPD)
This will cover the growth of the WAX network and allow us to provide reliable nodes that can handle the load. With our setup we can easily add more machines and/or upgrade the current ones to stay ahead of the requirements and load of the WAX blockchain.
Community benefit project outline
With our expertise is in EOSIO, security, network and infrastructure we intend to assist, help and support other Guilds and community members. We are providing API services for both v1 and v2 full-history which you can find on https://wax.eosio.se/ (or https://api.waxsweden.org ).
To use hyperion v2 API you can use Cleos v2, which can be downloaded from our github: https://github.com/eosswedenorg/eos/tree/cleos-v2/programs/cleos (documentation for Hyperion can be found at EOSRios Github: https://github.com/eosrio/Hyperion-History-API and Hyperion API can also be tested straight from our endpoint: https://api.waxsweden.org/v2/docs).
We have set up a snapshot service that takes a snapshot every 12th hour and is available for anyone to download on https://snapshots.waxsweden.org/

Infrastructure and security
We use top of the line hardware meticulously configured to minimize the attack vector. This is one of the key aspects for why we run our own servers and secure our own locations and nodes. We take multiple precautions to make sure no illegible person can access our infrastructure in any way. This includes both offline and online access to the machines.
Our team is 100% responsible for all aspects of our operation. Which means no outside people has access to our hardware or software.
We strongly believe we are doing everything in our power to maintain and uphold the highest level of security for our infrastructure and we are constantly innovating in this area.
We have 24/7 support with automated notifications if anything goes wrong. We are currently investigating AI that should let us know ahead of time when something is about to go wrong with any part of our operation.
Governance, transparency and accountability
We have a history of being an engaged part within the governance of EOSIO and strongly believe in maintaining the highest level of integrity in all blockchain projects we participate in. We are a fully independent and self-funded company with complete control of all aspects within our operation.
Our founders Eric (CTO) and Vahid (CEO) owns 100% of our company and operation. We are legally registered in Sweden.
