Easter Poem
Easter is a time of joy,
A time to celebrate and enjoy.
A time to reflect on the sacrifice made,
And the love that was displayed.
The story of Easter is one of hope,
Of resurrection and a new life to cope.
Of a savior who conquered death,
And gave us all a new breath.
The cross was heavy, the burden great,
But Jesus bore it all with love and grace.
He suffered and died, so we could live,
And through his sacrifice, we can forgive.
The tomb was empty, the stone rolled away,
And the angel proclaimed the news that day.
Jesus had risen, he had conquered death,
And with that, he gave us eternal breath.
Easter is a time to remember,
The love and grace we have been given.
A time to be grateful for the sacrifice made,
And the new life we have received in spades.
So let us celebrate this special day,
With joy and laughter in every way.
