I think the problem with us introverts is that we are severely misunderstood. Also, we are often seen as outcasts. If our extrovert or omnivert friends would just educate themselves they would be able to give us our personal time that we all desire so much. I actually think that we need it because social interaction tends to tire us out, and we need time to recuperate from it. I want the connections too, but on a much more personal level like you. I realize that I need to go out there and shine in order to achieve certain things. That is the way life is, but I also need the time to rest. For the longest time I let me being an introvert cause me to have social anxiety. More and more lately I have just accepted being an introvert and that has helped to lessen my anxiety. I will not let myself be defined as a person with anxiety anymore. I love reading your stuff by the way. Sorry about the rant.
