Blog Question 1: 9 Types of Intelligence for A.I
I believe the most beneficial artificial intelligence to replicate would be Visual-Spatial Intelligence. By continuously creating and updating a map or 3D image for the A.I to see its environment, you can allow them to make good decisions for different situations. With a constant layout of the area in 3D in the A.I, they are able to recognise whether a human or animal is in danger and are able to locate the best path to clear debris, open doors and rescue the human/animal in danger or to even be able to safely drive cars without need of assistance. From people who are known to have Visual-Spatial Intelligence, Robots/A. I that have this Intelligence would be adept at art and architecture, driving/flying/sailing and other activities/jobs that involve a good sense of sight/space.
I believe the most challenging yet one of the most interesting and beneficial artificial intelligence to implement is Existential Intelligence. If many humans aren’t even able to accept the thoughts and ideas of Existential Intelligence, it would seem impossible for robots to understand the meaning of life, why we are born and why we die. I don’t believe that humans nor robots or A.I will ever understand questions like why we and the world exists, however it may be possible through future advances in technology to make robots as Intelligent and understanding with these ideas as humans are. With existential intelligence relying almost completely on religious beliefs, a robot or A.I with this ability could abolish the ideas of some religions like Christianity with some Existential Intelligence possibly being against the bible and other religions. Robots or A.I with this intelligence act on their own opinion, manage and are drawn to becoming counsellors, psychologists, motivational speakers, human resource workers, philosophers, theoretical scientists or psychiatrists.
