Controlling yourself — How to lose weight

Just read the article in this Nutrition Action pdf:

Based on all the influences that have us overshop, overeat, and eat when we don’t want to, the following seems like a good idea — especially if you have issues with weight!:

Shop from a shopping list

Eat planned meals — don’t usually eat snacks

Eat a gluten free diet — Will restrict your eating out options, which is very helpful!

I’m thinking I may add measuring portion sizes ahead of time (I have a tendency to eat too much at once, then feel tired).

These strategies work for me, and when I fall off them for a while I pay!
