All of my British friends reacted negatively as well. One of them spoke to me the night before and said she was so afraid as to what will happen and she would be so very ashamed if it actually came to a Brexit.

On the morning after she only wrote: “Oh my goodness, we’ve left.”

Some of them first thought about the football European Championship when they heard that Britain was “out”.

It is all just really sad. One can only hope that they either come to their senses soon enough or that the EU won’t be as harsh to them as it promised to be.
