I am a film school student so occasionally believing that my thoughts (or awareness) are divided between two characters in conflict is a given. I suppose if I was an addict that I could manipulate myself in order to overcome what would probably ‘already’ be a division of my mind.

The most powerful argument for a ‘God’ it seems is control over death. Living with doom in the near future can unravel a persons civility over time.

If the galaxy that we live in can swirl away into the vastness of ‘outer’ space from ‘The Big Bang’ and then be calculated back to where it once was, then ‘The Little Bang’ (the microscopic swirl [or whatever] into the vastness of ‘inward’ space) can as well be calculated and reconstructed.
The soul of a human being seems to be ‘the memory of’ freedom of thought, choice, and state of mind. The thought and choice of a human gets stored biologically into memory, thus giving humans the ability to control what the biological blueprints left behind will contain.
With quantum computer processors on the horizon and its successor in the horizon after that, it is only a matter of time until the calculations that are needed will be at someones hand.
In the mean time scientists come and go, some sell the world a prognosis of death, at the loss of sight of DNA, while others continue the search in the darkness for the truth.
