In the machine age, only one type of organization will thrive: a human one

I don’t believe the transhumanist movement will win out in the end. By transhumanist I mean the whole “Cyber-physical systems” idea. It’s a wash in the end because we have not yet created a technology that is fully compatible with organic systems. I guess you could have a self-governing company of cyborgs yes? What with Ray Kurzweil directing Google’s AI development, they are shooting for something like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PVXQUItNEDQ … If he’s right, we should see companies run by transhumans (cyborgs) within the next 20–30 years. To sum up my sentiment, the changes we are going through are even harder to imagine than anyone has previously dared to imagine as reality. I guess though, as long as they were self-governing, they would be better than simply following orders? Would their machine parts be blindly following orders or would their human part be?
