AD4th Insight, which is currently running weBloc project, was formerly FocusM.
FocusM was one of the leading mobile advertising companies that generate the operating profit constantly.
After I became CEO, I could have taken an easy way to manage the company since I had already acquired both advertisers and clientele. I realized that there is a limitation to seek business expansion because Naver, Google, and other big advertising companies already dominate the domestic market.
KJ Eee, ICON which is known as the “Korean Ethereum” foundation Council, suggested me to apply blockchain technology to our existing platform. I decided to take blockchain technology as the point of departure for the next big wave. I gained the first-hand experience of growth in the Internet while I was working at Naver
I was considering how to apply blockchain technology to advertising know-hows for a few months. I decided to get into market and changed the name of company from FocusM into AD4th Insight.
My team and I started the weBloc project in which we collaborated with ICON Foundation and were supported by a leading provider of private blockchain solution, The Loop.
I strongly believe that every transaction on blockchain system are transparent so that all the participants are able to earn added-values. I have decided to apply blockchain technology to the weBlock, taking an advantage of the strategic partnership with ICON and experiences I gained in the industry for a long time.
Through the transactions on our blockchain based platform,
1. Advertiser will disclose the cost of advertisement
2. Middlemen’s roles and costs will be disclosed
3. Users will provide necessary information

In other words, I truly believe that our team could create an ecosystem that enables participants consume tokens each other to develop a good circulation relationship.
We aim to expand protocol of the ICON and to clarify our identity as an ICON-based DApp. So, we decided to launch the world’s first ICX based ICO to vitalize the ecosystem.
In order to create an advertising ecosystem where all participants will have a meaningful win-win structure on our platform, we are striving to make strategic partnerships with ICON-based companies. Furthermore, we are negotiating with large domestic advertising agencies / middlemen to create an ecosystem that enables them to trade tokens as a mean of payment for pre-advertising cost.
Our team will create a platform that will be applied to our real life. weBloc is highly noticeable in a difference of high possibility to create a unique decentralized AD exchange from other ICO projects.
