I couldn’t find a good Bitly CLI, so I wrote one

I’ve been using Bitly for a while. Though it’s only one of many link shortening services, it’s a very popular one. It’s widely recognized, it’s reliable and I find it easy and pleasant to use.

However, using Bitly’s web interface to browse my previously saved short links felt cumbersome. I wanted to quickly bring up a list of all of my “bitlinks” with one command in a terminal. I couldn’t find an app that does that well. So I wrote one:

It can also shorten or expand links, and its functionality could be extended to cover the entire Bitly API. For now, it’s just the basics:
