WECHAT MEET ITS CHALLENGER: BULLET MESSENGER

So finally there is a challenger for WeChat, China’s No 1 messaging app.

Yes, we are mentioning about Bullet Messenger which was launched on August 20, 2018. It’s powerful enough to give a strong shot at China’s truly monopolistic sector of messaging app, where Tencent’s designed app WeChat have control on 86 percent of the social media app users based out in China.

Bullet Messenger is emerging out to be one of the most downloaded free app on Apple’s App Store of China just within four days of its launch, as per the shared data of app analytics firm App Annie.

Its a startup of Kuairu having the backing of Smartisan which is a well-known Chinese smartphone maker, this newly designed messenger is forcing investors’ to turn heads. It locked its first funding 9 days back on 30th Aug,2018 at US$22 million. This announcement was done by Smartisan founder Luo Yonghao on Weibo.

Since its inception Over the years, WeChat turned into an all-in-one app. It allows users to complete a wide array of regular tasks starting from booking rides to make the payment of utility bills. But chances are pretty high that over time Bullet Messenger will develop more and turn out to be a sophisticated choice for China app users.
