How performs DSL work?

Is DSL right for me?

Advantages

· DSL is widely available because it is built on an existing telephone line.

· More affordable than a satellite or broadband Internet connection.

· DSL allows each Internet user to use a leased line, as for telephone services. DSL line demand is not high for some online subscribers. Cable Internet cables are shared by nearby subscribers, which can slow your connection during peak Internet usage.

Disadvantages

· The type of Internet connection is fast, but it usually costs you money.

· It depends on the distance of the DSL connection. In other words, the closer you are to the central office, the better the relationship. The slower the signal.

· Internet DSL can be used anywhere on a traditional telephone network and provides a reliable and affordable connection.

In addition to DSL broadband, TDS also provides Internet services via cable, fiber, and copper. The company’s fiber services are available to nearly 496,000 people, making it the 17th largest broadband provider in the United States. The service is offered to businesses at 49 postal codes.
