The Artful hand of the Creator

‘…God’s painting again..’

The other morning was just like any other morning, trying to wake up and glancing nonchalantly at the world waking up. I’m lucky to be live in a place where I can see sunrise over the sea and breathe without thinking I’m inadvertently ingesting half a million dodgy chemicals. As I looked to the crimson streaked sky I could see clearly the dappling of silver grey edging the clouds like blends from a master’s palate, ‘God’s been painting again!’ I thought. It got me to thinking that our Father God must love to create, revel in the sensation of bringing something forth from Himself. It must be similar to the feeling of satiation I receive in placing brush to canvas and the gentle pull of oils like its connected to my soul, although for Him it must be even better… after all He is God and has a much bigger canvas. On that canvas every master stroke has a part to play, be it light or dark, dry brushed or flooded, dragged ,swept or stippled.

‘…The Father’s great mural…’

I am on that canvas, you are on that canvas, each of us bringing to bear a complimentary stroke to the Father’s great Mural. Each and every one of us is a stroke from the artful hand of the Creator, a victory her, a hardship there, a broad wash of Grace across the facing page. Every stroke, every mark has a purpose in the journey to a masterpiece, added to, adjusted , set in the foreground for a time and resting in the background at others.

My point… Have Faith in where the Father has placed you in the great mural. You are exactly where you need to be until the next brush stroke or layer of change is applied.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
