I attended the Seimer Summit in LA and it was terrific. The energy in Los Angeles is palpable. The tech scene has critical mass, but is still small enough that I could catch up with my friends from Upfront, Greycroft, and Pritzker Group and important enough that Silicon Valley VCs and companies make the short trek to attend events like Siemer. But more importantly, entrepreneurs are building great things in LA. Despite some terrific exits, investment in those startups is not keeping pace.
