Detailing the composition of our solar system would let aliens know when they’ve found the right one, but wouldn’t tell them anything about where to look.
Is there an alternative to the pulsar map that can provide a stable position in space over long periods of time? Perhaps even something as simple as a map of our position in the current galaxy, along with a time since the big bang so the position of our sun can be extrapolated forward to the present day when it’s found?
