This is the number one thing most people don’t do. They go full pelt until they collapse and then never run again because it takes so long to recover!

For those getting into running, I recommend downloading the Couch to 5k app/plan, it builds you up to a reasonable goal in a sensible way and a lot of my friends have found success with it and gone on to do more distance/races etc :)
