Hello! I’m Aliya, a wellness enthusiast and an advocate for positive psychology.

Through my work in corporate wellness I discovered my own mental health disorders and decided to use wellness as a natural coping mechanism.

Mental illness isn't a death sentence! I just have to design a lifestyle that works around it, just like someone with diabetes or eczema would.

I refuse to be medicated or to be controlled by my mental health so, through trial and error, I have been finding natural ways to live with my illness.

I felt a calling to share my journey with the world in case there are others out there who want to live a healthy, natural lifestyle and to be at peace with their mental illness. I understand there are some illnesses that can only be controlled by medication, but this isn’t my story.

My journey has just begun, there is no such thing as ‘healed’ it’s ‘healing’. Sometimes I make mistakes, or I slip up ( I am human after all) so please take everything I say with a grain of salt. Everything I share is my personal opinion and personal experience with trying out different wellness activations.

The purpose of this blog is to share my experiences and also to share information and tips on both corporate and personal wellbeing.
