It sounds like you blame coding for all your inconveniences. You come into conclusion on your own with the mistaken belief that using paid external services and out-of-the-box solutions will make you a better engineer because it saved you time and problems.
“Fun” doesn’t necessarily mean better. What’s convenient isn’t necessarily the correct solution. If you’re actually small-minded enough to blame the process of coding for your code smells, then it’s highly likely that you’ll blame the user interface and call it stupid, if you switch to “visual” programming that doesn’t require coding.
I do get your point that there’s no need to rewrite everything. But it would have been better if you thought a bit more about the implications of what you’re suggesting in an actual professional software engineering setting/process/environment.
