Take on Big Challenges
One of my friend bought a house this year, for ¥ 1 million, and decorated and rented it. It was a good loft stands in suburb of Shanghai. ¥ 1 million is much but according to the environment the price is fair. Now he is a happy landlord with great view from his 16th-floor loft window outside.
It is not easy to buy a house in Shanghai, unless you are a millionaire. Even you are a millionaire, you have to get married and registered in Shanghai government. It is easy to get married to get registered in the government. But honestly say, marriage is not an easy task.
He told be some stories once we had a dinner. About how he did homework about the policy and found a way to buy house without getting married and without registered as Shanghai citizen. About how he choose the right place. About how he decorate the house. And the most exiting is how get 20 thousand back from real estate agent. He described it in a leisure way but I know what he suffers during that time.
As what Ev Williams says in his Formula for Entrepreneurial Success,
Take on Big Challenges It’s pretty simple: Hard things are valuable; easy things are not so valuable. Reaching the mountaintop is rewarding because it is hard. If it was easy, everybody would do it.
Life is always not easy if you choose an exiting way to spend it. Do the things you want to and deal with the troubles you should meet.
