People Don’t Care About Your Personal Training Certifications

Look, no one is going to ask you where you got your personal training certification.

Your clients won’t care that you’re certified in Group Fitness or Senior Fitness. Clients care that you provide them a transformative experience.

And we’re living in the age of social media, where most people are seeking a particular look, more-and-more taken by a fitness influencer on Instagram, whose very content is showing their daily workout routine. One could adopt their routine, right?

So why become certified, is what I’ve always wondered.

Why spend money on certifications when in the Information Age, all this stuff is accessible through a Google Search.

Then I became the Email Marketing Strategist for the International Sports and Sciences Association and learned that certifications mainly take all the data that — yes, is scattered across the internet, and presents it in a way that is noise-free and easily to understand.

There’s a Science to this, you know!

Don’t be the person passing on fragmented advice just because you have a nice physique, and your routine works for you. You and I know, it’s more to it than that.

Learn something about the science (it’s not a heavy lift) of transforming the body.

And do it through the ISSA. ISSA’s been at it for 30 years now and has certified 300,000 trainers who are their ISSA Members now.
