After reading all these responses, this is what I was thinking as well. Personally, I would want to use my own account while on a trip (I do not travel for work) because I want to keep up with my friends and family through my social media accounts.

Then, getting ready to come back to the US, I would back up my account to the cloud, reset my iPhone to factory settings, restart with 2nd Apple account with a few apps but no social media apps.

After using Android phones for years, I do prefer an iPhone when it comes to restoring from the cloud. I doubt they would realize that I had a more robust Apple account out there.
