Marketing & Community
1. CarBlock CMO Kevin Jiang was invited by YouBi Capital to attend the 2018 Youbi Night and delivered a keynote speech at the conference. YouBi Capital is committed to the long-term value of the blockchain ecosystem. It has invested in more than 20 next-generation blockchain technologies and decentralized commercial applications, amounting to nearly $60 million, and became one of the super node of Huobi exchange in May 2018. In the future, CarBlock will jointly promote the application of blockchain projects with Youbi Capital.
2. The CarBlock mascot has completed its design by Russian designer Мария Силкина. The new CarBlock mascot was voted by the community members to name as CARBY.
3. CarBlock CPO York Liang was invited to attend the 2018 Global Blockchain Summit. The summit invited many KOLs and CEOs from various industries such as VitalikButerin, to discuss the true technical value of blockchain, and to present a blueprint for the future development of blockchain technology with a realistic attitude.
4. With the successful exploration in the automotive field, CarBlock has been selected as one of the top 10 unique blockchain projects that are changing the face of the industry. The selection was judged by 21cryptos, a well-known foreign media magazine, within the evaluation and analysis of many blockchain projects in different industries. This shortlist once again illustrates the great potential of CarBlock in the automotive field.
5. CarBlock US PR Manager Christina Lockwood was invited to particiapte the TSVC Event in Silicon Valley and joined the discussion with other guests in the roundtable forum with the theme “Tokenizing Your Business”
Industry & Ecosystem Cooperation
1. CarBlock has signed a MOU with North American insurance company Impact Insurance, which ranks in the forefront of the insurance industry worldwide. The company has long been committed to the sustainable development of society and the economy. Through insurance, it further promotes the stable development of many enterprises. The cooperation marks the official start of CarBlock’s US user insurance business docking.
2. CarBlock has started cooperation with North American insurance company Root, North America’s first automotive application GasBuddy, and North American auto repair service provider CarDash. The four parties will officially start docking at the user level, and will deepen the efforts in traffic sharing, data application and new business development in the future.
3. CarBlock CMO Kevin Jiang is invited by the famous Silicon Valley investment agency Plug & Play to attend the Plug & Play China 2018 Fall Summit on September 18 and will deliver a keynote speech at the summit.
4. CarBlock Asia Pacific Ecosystem Leader Stone Zhang was invited to participate in the BYD Global Developers Conference and discuss cooperation opportunities with the KOLs from the automotive industry.
