Given the frequent advice to store the data in the cloud and download it at your destination, it wouldn’t surprise me if travelers sans electronics are then asked what services they use and whether they are carrying SIM and other data cards to unlock them. And you do not have to be carrying electronics to be asked for your Facebook password. Now that the airlines submit full passenger manifests for checking before they’re allowed to take off, there’s plenty of time in-flight to select specific passengers, do internet searches, and query them *knowledgeably* at the border: “We found your Facebook page. What’s the password?” rather than “Do you use Facebook?”
