The increase in intellectual youths has brought about the rise of tech hubs to support their visions , provide them with the necessary facilities to help start and grow their businesses.Over the last few years, there has been a significant amount of tech hubs emerge in Nigeria and Africa at large. This development has given people a boost to start their businesses without the fear of the cost of power supply, internet or office space.Tech hubs has set them up on a journey that will help them grow individually, help their businesses and nation’s economy.

Why choose a tech hub over a rented office space?

Affordable work space: For people who work from home and love the office feel i.e the feel of waking up and leaving the house everyday but aren’t ready to commit to a whole space of their own, tech hubs are perfect for them.

Tech hubs provides a suitable work space that can allow them be creative, innovative and run their businesses with ease. Tech hubs are affordable, serene and also perfect for business meetings.

Networking: Being an entrepreneur or a creative/tech entrepreneur is interesting, having to make decisions by oneself and run a business without external influence but at the same time it can easily get boring and monotonous.

With tech hubs one can have people of like minds share ideas on projects and connect with other people in the industry.

Access to funding: Running a startup alone it’s a struggle to focus on while growing your business and going in search of investors.

But tech hubs are home to angel investors, venture capitalists, and others who are able to mentor entrepreneurs. They have the power to connect you with investors who are looking for great opportunities. A number of them do not only introduce startups to venture capitalists and angel investors, many of them also have their own capital to invest in startup ventures.

Access to mentor-ships and trainings: Tech hubs organize trainings for startups and entrepreneurs. They also connect them to thought leaders in the and experts in whatever field and industry.

They also organize workshops for business leaders to share the business tips and share their experiences about the industry. This opens up an opportunity for these entrepreneurs to access a network of industry leaders and companies

The opportunity to focus and grow business : With a dedicated work space , entrepreneurs can focus on their business and grow it taking full advantage of all the available facilities and connections.
