Always assume best intentions. I mean, at the end of the day, everyone wants the same thing — to build something great. You might be wrong some small % of the time, but you’ll still be saving yourself a great deal of unnecessary drama.

It’s true, but really depends on whether you are in a good team that everyone are focusing/ debating to make something great instead of “proving I’m right” :) And always respect your co-workers.
