“Are you in my story?”

(We walked out of the theatre.)

Past midnight

Empty parking lot

but one car

The stranger said,

“I’m still immersed in the movie.”

Empty streets

“The camera work was smooth,” I answered.

“Aren’t you moved by the story?” he asked.

“It was part of my story,” I said.

Car door shut

“Are you in my story?” I asked.

Car left

The lights have gone

but one on
