I hope this message finds you well and hope you’re as excited for the holidays as we are! As we approach the holiday season, we would like to share some SLAs and guidelines in order to set expectations for the holidays and beyond and make this busy season as successful and seamless as possible!
Holiday Delivery Deadlines
For all orders with standard shipping, we must receive the order by 10AM Central Time on Wednesday, December 14 to ensure the package will be delivered on time. See DHL’s guidelines at the bottom of this post and USPS’s guidelines here as the basis for ours.
Order Processing Timelines
We remain dedicated to our commitment to provide same-day tracking for all orders placed before 10 AM Central Time, but with a significant increase in volume, we may be delayed up to 24 hours in processing orders.
Overnight orders placed on Friday will arrive on Monday, unless sent via UPS Next Day Air Early AM. This is the only service that guarantees Saturday delivery. We would also need separate communication for Saturday deliveries to firstname.lastname@example.org
No bulk orders and subscription services will be shipping after December 15th as we cannot guarantee lowest cost shipping options will arrive before the holidays.
Subscription service and bulk order clients must book a date in advance to ship all holiday batch orders. This ensures no overlapping bulk orders during the holiday rush. In order to book a date please contact our support staff no later than December 4th. Our support staff will contact our Director of Operations, who will then confirm or request another date for the order.
For our warehousing clients
Warehouse Receiving Orders will be processed within 5 business days of inventory arriving to the warehouse. Once inventory arrives, we will change the receiving order status to ‘processing’ so you are aware the inventory has arrived.
Each time we receive inventory (whether it’s sent via carrier or picked up via ship captain), we charge a $35 receiving fee. If it takes longer than 2 hours to receive inventory, we charge an additional $35 per man-hour.
To expedite the receiving process please make sure to fill out a warehouse receiving order (WRO), check that the quantities are correct, and attach the WRO to the outside of each box. We may charge a penalty for any shipments not following this process.
For our pick up clients
Ship Captain pick-ups and drop offs must be placed in the dashboard by 6PM the day before the pickup/delivery. We guarantee pick up and drops to and from specific zip codes in Chicago and a few suburbs only. Please reach out to us if there are any questions.
All drop offs are $25 and will be charged as a regular order. The tracking number will appear “SHIPBOBNOW” signifying a drop off charge.
