Hey, I’m going to be in DC next week.

This is rad! A couple suggestions for your “getting around” section:

  1. Point out that once the Alphabet streets end (around W St I think) the alphabet starts over with two-syllable street names. Once those end, it starts over again with three syllable names. So not only does “7th and H NW” work for figuring out where you are, so does “36th and Brandywine.”
  2. Ignore state streets for all navigation purposes. They’re only useful purpose is telling a cab or uber where to pick you up or drop you off.
  3. Trains run no MORE than 20 minutes apart.
One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
