Morning

We see the car from the inside as it drives. Both occupants are peacefully silent.

She reclines gently on the seat and stares out the window at the lights and their reflection in the wet windows.

The car pulls up to the curb outside her apartment building.

He gets out on the driver side, walks around to her door and lets her out of the car. She is holding her shoes by the straps in her one hand.

“Thank you,” she says, “have a good day.”

“You too.” he replies.
