You have seen so many glow-up checklists on social media, but most of them need to be more realistic. I will share some of my proven glow-up checklists that I have seen work and results. These steps apply to busy people and also too-busy .Multitasking is awesome to people like you and me.

How To Have A Glow-Up Checklist That Works

It takes 21 days only to build a new habit. So why don’t you strike a deal with me? You might be asking yourself which deal this is. So hear me out; the deal is you add these steps to your routine in the next 21 days. You are not limited; you can make it 30 days cause why not?

Five steps glow checklist.

Drink More Water

Drinking water seems like the primary step of glowing up. When done daily, it does work. According to research, taking four to six cups a day work for most people.

Apart from that , the most helpful thing about drinking water is that it is not only good for your health. But also you can see improvements in your physical appearance. It levels up your beauty game! It helps you fight a lot of skin problems.

Yet, you might not be able to do it throughout this challenge. Here is how I did it. I bought this cute motivational water bottle that helps me to stay on top more. As I compete with myself; sounds fun, right?

Get a skincare routine and be consistent.

Keeping it simple should be the first thing you do as you try to get what products work for your skin. We have so many skincare routines that are on social media that can be persuasive to try one every week. The goal is to stay consistent for at least 21 days.

But I’m not saying that you should stick to a routine that isn’t working for you. For better results, seek professional advice since every skin is different. For you to get an idea, let me share my minimalist skincare routine that has worked for my acne-prone, oily skin. I will also share some secrets that got me these results.

In The Morning

Step one; wash the face with my Garnier vitamin c cleanser.

Step two: apply my Garnier vitamin c serum on my face, neck, and chest.

Step three: apply sunscreen (this is my favorite because it protects me from UV rays and also

has zinc that helps in fighting acne)

Step four: Go on with my planned activities for the day!

At Night

Step one: wash my face with my Cerave cleanser.

Step two: apply retinol.

Step three: moisturize my face using a simple moisturizer

Simple right? This routine has worked wonders for my skin. I have been getting compliments here and there about how my skin is glowing. But can you believe I got some horrible breakouts before it got to that point? The breakouts frustrated me, so I decided to visit my dermatologist.

She told me that retinol was the cause of the breakouts and that I should not worry. It does happen when most people start using retinol for the first few days. She also went further on to explain my bedding and how changing them would help my skin. Now I am amazed by the results. My confidence is now at its peak because of my flawless glowing skin. Here are some secrets I learned that helped me

  • Wash your face using your bare hands
  • Be gentle on your skin
  • Never skip your skin routine, even on bad days

These secrets gave me a mind-blowing glow-up; at least give them a try during this challenge.

Meditation

Another important glow up step. Glow upstarts from the inside. Focusing on the outside is work done halfway. You might roll your eyes and think meditation is unsuitable for your glow-up.

But, siz, let me tell you! Meditation isn’t sitting under a tree for hours without thinking about anything. I need you to give meditation a chance. Meditation is so underrated.

Here is why meditation has been one of the most powerful tools . For my personal development and mental health. Coming from a person who has anxiety and stress, do you know how stress can cause acne? Meditation gets rid of that acne caused by stress.

Isn’t that amazing? You can start with two minutes of meditation. We are after to stay consistent more so you can get guided meditation videos on Youtube.

Read At Least A Page Everyday

Reading does it for me. You get to learn and explore so many minds in the world. I prefer self-developing books . books that explain the brain of human beings. Which books are you more into fiction books?

Yet, I recommend joining this with another habit that you love to do. It may be basking in the sun as you sip some juice you can incorporate through some pages. For this glow-up to be effective, pick a book you will enjoy while reading.

Journal Everyday

When I started, I used to think that I was different from that person that would journal daily. Here is why; because I struggle with being expressive about my emotions and thoughts. But with journaling, I have been able to express myself through writing.

It might be , because I am an introvert. But even so this has become an essential self-development tool that I have discovered. You can state the way you are, and you can pour out all the overwhelming thoughts.

Not only that, ideas that pop up in your mind, write them down. Sometimes I have seen breakthroughs during my practice.

Glow up goes beyond being prettier: In Conclusion.

Glowing up means something other than becoming prettier. It goes beyond that and elevates your mind, body, and soul. So Are you ready for the 21 days challenge? I know you can do it.
