the wall goes far and wide
to climb the fence, I tried
my entry was denied
then a gate was supplied
no longer parted, by this divide
will I walk to the other side?
or remain, unmoved in pride
A poem for the National Gallery in Oslo
It would seem
You come for The Scream
Yet so much more
For you to explore
Much art to behold
Your eyes will unfold
The light of the mind
New places to find
So pull the wooden door
So find the truth and lore
