Man, I can’t stand it when people give the whole, “wow you’re so lucky you travel, wish I could do that!” speech. It’s like they’re assuming you’re some privileged trust fund baby. The truth is, traveling is easy. What’s not easy is finding the funds/time to travel when you place a lot of value in a steady paycheck, fancy clothes, weekly beer runs, and having kids. Not that there’s anything wrong with wanting those things, but at least people should take responsibility for their choices and stop whining about not having it all.
