Why did we start West Coast Tackle Box?

We have officially launched the West Coast Tackle Box Blog! This is your spot to get the latest fishing tips and techniques, learn about the newest tackle and gear on the market, stay up to date on West Coast Tackle Box news, and a ton more.

We thought we’d start you off with a little bit about why we started West Coast Tackle Box.

As guys that love to fish, we knew we’d be stoked about getting a box filled with different tackle delivered to our doors every month. We — like most of you — are big fans of testing out new gear and new techniques. That love for fishing has us constantly searching for, testing and using tackle that’s going to get us that big fish. Whether that’s hooking up a Chinook in the Strait, or snagging a feisty Smallmouth at one of our many local lakes, sharing that tackle with you is important to us.

We’ve seen other boxes — even tried some — but we never found anything that had tackle and baits we could use (or liked much). We want to offer quality gear from household brands that fishermen here on the West Coast know and love; gear they can use. We’re excited to be working with Gibbs Delta, Rhys Davis, Silver Horde, Deadly Dicks, Hot Spot, Yamashita, Zak Tackle, O’ki and more. You can expect a great collection of tackle each month, tailored to what you need to fish this beautiful West Coast.
