WDVPs are watercolor or mixed media inversions based on photos. Three of these I took myself. The one with the coffee mug was taken by a friend. Sometimes I’ll eyeball a photo and wing it. Other times, I’ll actually print the photo really lightly on the paper and lay down some basic color blocks — 3–4 lines, a couple splashes, similar — and paint from there. Other other times I’ll lose the photo I’m working from part way through and end up with no idea what I’m doing — the double wing-with-swearing technique, a specialty.

Prints eventually. but I think I’ll touch up a couple of ’em first.
